Chord of the Month

Guitar

Article from Making Music, April 1987

Nicely seventh

What, a boring' nold sevunth? Is that the best they can come up with after 12 months at it? Ordinary chord, maybe, but a really sweet position - very comfortable, easy to slip and slide up the strings, and sounds low and gravelly. Index finger on the A string, ring finger on the E string, fourth finger on the D, and little pinkie on the G. Remaining B and top E don't get touched. Try it, s'nice.
