A bit of class this month. This is the "mystic chord" of Alexander Nikolaievich Scriabin (1872-1915). It seems that the man was content to rip off Chopin, Liszt and Wagner until he discovered this chord comprising fourth intervals. I'm not quite sold on the idea that the chord was intended to replace conventional major and minor chords but it sounds interesting so what more do you want?
