A very useful shape, essentially a diminished seventh, this chord is the basis for a whole stack of chords depending on the root notes: C bass: C7 (b9); Db bass: Db dim 7; Eb bass: Eb7 (b9); E bass: E dim 7; G bass: G dim 7; A bass: A7 (b9); Bb bass: Bb dim 7. Have fun. Rather nice, don't you think?
