It's that time of the year again when Editors of monthly magazines experience alternating bouts of depression and anxiety. For the arrival of the festive season signals a flurry of activity aimed at producing two editions in quick succession, coupled with the agonising decision as to which one — December or January — should be 'full of Christmas spirit'. With our January issue due to appear in the shops about mid-December, ES&CM readers will have to wait one more month for the 'yule-tide goodies'. However, to all the staunch traditionalists, who feel that Christmas Day should be in December, we would like to extend the seasons' greetings.
