Article from Micro Music, August/September 1989 | |
They said it'd never get this far but here it is - Issue Three of Micro Music.
Many thanks for all the letters congratulating us on the mag and the suggestions you've given us to improve things even further. Please keep them coming - from next issue we'll be publishing a selection from our mailbag and the best letter we print will receive a Micro Music T-shirt.
In the meantime, this issue carries a Readership Survey (see page 42). We've put this in so as to ascertain what you like in the mag, what you dislike and what you'd like to see us cover in the future. As a little incentive we'll be giving away free subscriptions to the first five surveys we pull out of the hat. So don't hang about - get those Questionnaires into us as quickly as possible so that we can make Micro Music exactly what you want.
So what have we got in store for you in the next issue? Well we've got several new features starting next issue including a Technical Help page for all those problems we have in setting up a computer music system. Also we'll be looking at professional recording studios that cater specifically for micro musicians. On the reviews front we'll be putting the two latest mega sequencers for the ST, namely Virtuoso from The Digital Muse and Cubase from Steinberg through their paces. For The Macintosh we'll be looking at Finale from Coda and for the Amiga (hopefully) Music X. Plus some stonking exclusives, but we'll keep you in suspense about those until next issue.
The October/November edition hits the news-stands on Friday the 14th of September. Don't miss it!
