Blah blah blah

Yeah. Here it is, OTT/ZZ in all its technicolour glory. The spirit remains the same, it's just that now there's a whole lot more for your money. Not only are there the normal bunch of instrument reviews, industry news and other such fascinating titbits, now we acknowledge that you great unwashed out there have interests other than what gauge of string Lemmy uses and sampling broken milk bottles. That's right kiddies: Album reviews, singles, film, video, the whole kit and kaboodle. Let us know what you think, and more importantly, what you want...

News reaches us from Steve at Blue Suede Music that some bastard walked off with an amber Guild X170 from the British Music Fair. Whoever did it be warned — there's only three of them in the country and we know where the other two are. So getting rid of it could be quite a problem. Save yourself a pair of broken legs and give it back. The serial number is HL10002Z. There's reward for any information that leads to it's recovery. Contact us here at OTT/ZZ and we'll pass on the gen...

Latest contender for the Jim Kerr Trouser Snake Of The Year Awards is... Zodiac Mindwarp (aka that little wimp Mark Manning) who, authoritative sources say, has a whopper. Zodiac himself isn't shy about things, and we quote: 'I'm not getting it out until we play Hammersmith Palais because it's the only place that's big enough'. Expect the first album to have a gatefold sleeve for those extra inches...

Lips are being licked for the arrival of totally brilliant Rap trio Run DMC on the shores of this hallowed isle (see gig guide). Those of you who can make it won't be disappointed...

Not only that, we also hear that Five Star, everyone's fave MJ clones, are out on the road too. Expect an on the road report very soon (and soon after, Bucks Fin)...

Thomas Dolby's back in town after doing the soundtrack (we think) to the forthcoming film 'Howard The Duck'... and finally, a quick joke: What goes into Thirteen twice? Er, we'd like to tell you, but we'd probably end up in court. Suffice to say it's not Bill Wyman.
