Overview

This page is all about the data, for those nerdy enough to be interested.

Note that much of this data comes from the Active content, so there will be trend gaps in the data where we haven't processed those particular issues yet. As we are adding new issues continuously, this data will improve over time.

Expanded overall general stats are shown above. (There is a smaller version of this on the home page, which you can reveal by clicking on the "Show more stats" link in the info bar.)

Notes

The "Top" graphs below are limited to the top 15 items in each category. You can click on a bar to open the item that bar represents in a new tab.

The mu:zines site and custom CMS is written from scratch with around 70,000 lines of bespoke code (HTML, PHP, JS and CSS - not including third-party libraries).

As of March 2022, traffic is around 60,000 unique visitors per month, with typically between 200GB-300GB monthly bandwidth.

The site currently uses around 25GB of web server space, and growing all the time as we add content.
