This Eko three-pickup solid, built in Italy in 1964, has no proper model name, so we've called it the Espresso Special. The accordion-style glitter finish covers a body of finest plywood; Guitar Guru Paul Day, from whose collection it comes, assures us it's a "quite conservative" example of Italian luthiery of the mid-sixties. You'd have to pay up to £150 for one in good nick these days.
