Article from One Two Testing, March 1985

"Keep it down," rasped Squiffy Collins, his one good ear pushed hard against the mildewed weave of the wireless speaker. "You'll bring the whole bloody Luftwaffe down on us." Returning to the rustle of static, Squiffy strained to pick out the message due on the hour. Nearby, 'Blinks' Blenkinsop hovered with a codebook and the dribbly stub of an HB. "Okay here it comes. 'Editor: Paul Colbert, squisshh garpp duckkry Assistant Editor: Tony Bacon squissh crrrccrrcrle gof sprrrssh Design: Jerry Arron ffeerrrrsshhh wooshsooshyyy.' I think that's it. What have you got?" Half a dozen strained faces, clustered around Blenkinsop's feint line pad. "I think it means," spoke Blenks, barely controlling his squeak, "that there's another brilliant issue of One Two Testing on the way." For the first time in a month, seven sets of teeth began to smile.
