Article from Electronic Soundmaker & Computer Music, March 1984 | |
It happens to the best of us... there you are minding your own business when suddenly, WHAM! inflation hits you where it hurts most — in the profit margin. There's nothing else for it except to raise some extra money by increasing prices. And though we hate to admit it, ES&CM has succumbed to a 10p price rise. However, all is not gloom and despondency because careful examination reveals an extra 32 pages to maintain our claim to being the best value on the market.
...And in a packed magazine this month we have two major synth focuses, a concise survey of some of the latest musical micros and four interviews, plus a concert review on Duran Duran.
On the project front we've produced a value-for-money phaser design that is the first in a series of single board modules which will build into a complete effects system.
Which all goes to show that ES&CM is determined to remain foremost in the electronic music field.
