One Two Testing was IPC's offering into the market that E&MM dominated - new wave pop music with an electronic production slant. It ran for a few years longer than Electronic Soundmaker did, but along it's run IPC sold the publication to Northern & Shell.
It continued to run as an N&S publication, but seemed to run into problems towards the end of it's run, first merging with Zig Zag, and then being folded into International Musician - but even this wasn't enough to stay in the market as International Musician finally came to an end not much later due to diminishing advertising revenue.
Much of the staff of One Two Testing went on to produce the free Making Music magazine.
