EXAMSArticle from Phaze 1, June 1989 | |
EXAMS are notorious for getting in the way just as the summer seems about to begin. Three things invariably happen:
1. You miss out on all the hot weather due to revision, and as soon as the exams are over it starts to rain.
2. The person on the next desk to you has always got hay fever and sneezes every 30 seconds, while at the same time you are continually amazed by the weakness of your bladder.
3. And worst of all, Radio 1 and the Sunday supplements are besieged with features on coping with exam stress. Perhaps the sanest option is to engross yourself in PHAZE 1 which is once again infinitely more interesting than even soil erosion, photosynthesis or the theory of commodity fetishism.
