That Madonna bloke's playing at Wembley Stadium on August 18th, 19th, and 20th. Tickets are a hefty £16 each from yer usual outlets, including the stadium itself.
Dates for your diary in October include B B King's tour, and three gigs by Bob Dylan with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. Dylan does Brum NEC on the 10th, and Wembley Arena on the 14th and 15th. BB is a little more generous, playing 13 gigs without a break, starting on the 8th at the Brighton Centre and continuing Manchester Apollo, Bradford St. George's, Birmingham Hippodrome, Dublin Stadium, Royal Albert Hall (twice), Newcastle City Hall, Edinburgh Playhouse, Glasgow Pavilion, Liverpool Empire, Bristol Colston, and Exeter Uni.
Following our Martin Barre feature last month, Jethro Tull have woken up for an October tour, which includes Edinburgh Playhouse (4th), Newcastle City Hall (5th), Manchester Apollo (8th), Birmingham NEC (9th). Then they're off to Europe (hello European readers) to The Hague (11th), Wuertzberg (14th), Hamburg (18th), Heidelberg (19th), Munich (20th) — big in the FDR, these boys — Berlin (22nd), Koln (23rd), Essen (24th), Frankfurt (27th), then back to Hammersmith Odeon, London on the 29th.
