Article from One Two Testing, July 1985 |
You are in a dark area of the jungle. All around you are black trees. You can hear the noises of the animals, and of the undergrowth rustling in the gentle, dry wind. On the floor is some food and some explosive. The only exits are north, where a shady path leads you know not where, and south west, where the noisiest animals seem to be lurking. First try goes to Editor: Paul Colbert. "TAKE FOOD. OK. EAT FOOD. OK. GO NORTH. YOU COME TO A MCDONALDS AND ARE FORCE FED. OH DEAR, YOU SEEM TO HAVE DIED." Would you like a new game, Assistant Editor: Tony Bacon? "YES. TAKE EXPLOSIVE. OK. GO SOUTH WEST. OK, A LION SAYS HELLO. LIGHT EXPLOSIVE. OK. DROP EXPLOSIVE. OK. GO NORTH EAST. THE LION EATS YOU AND THE EXPLOSIVE, OH DEAR YOU ARE DEAD ON TWO COUNTS." Would you like a new game, Designer: Jerry Arron? "YES. WAIT. OK. DRAW NEW LOGO FOR JUNGLE OWNER. OK, HELICOPTER ARRIVES. TAKE HELICOPTER TO SOMEWHERE REALLY NICE. OK." Break.
