With Christmas and the New Year's celebrations well and truly out of the way we can turn our attentions to the new and exciting developments the next 12 months will bring.

During the next few months we'll be finding out just what companies big and small will have on offer at the two main trade fairs of the year - namely the NAMM show in the States and of course, the Frankfurt Musik Messe in Germany.

Naturally enough, all concerned are keeping tight lipped about their respective launches but the word is that 1990 will be the year the computer music market explodes with all manner of stonky gear.

Needless to say that Micro Music will be covering both shows over the next few months and will be reviewing the products the moment they become available.

Still, enough of the sales pitch, many thanks to those of you who are writing in with you tips and queries. Keep 'em coming. Tip of the month will win £25!

Speaking of winning there's another chance to enter our Hitmaster competition where you can win a Casio VZ-1 synth and a day in ARC'S professional recording facilities. All you have to do is send in your best demo. Of course if you got last months issue you have not one but two chances to enter.

That's about all I have to say this month, see you next month.
