Program Notes

The Return Of...

Article from Making Music, September 1987

There were 26,643 people at the British Music Fair, and it seemed like 26,644 wanted to know what happened to Program Notes. Well, we thought it was getting a bit boring, we said. Then they hit us. This is a definition of "back by popular demand" you won't see in the dictionary, but it explains why Program Notes returns this month with two patches for all those CZ-ish type Casio synths sitting out there. More to come in future issues. Timpani was sent in by Steven Bird of Whitton, Middlesex - ta, Steve - and anyone else with a pen and a blank programming pad knows where to post his goodies. A record token for any good ones we use... the better presented (and neatly written) they are, the more chance they'll get used.
